Everything runs in your own infrastructure.
VAKTA runs as containers in your own environment — Azure, AWS or your own server. A question passes PII protection, your policies and orchestration before it reaches a language model. Answers are drawn from your own documents via a local knowledge store. None of this leaves your boundary.
Two layers of protection.
Data sovereignty as architecture
The platform runs in your own environment. Data never leaves your infrastructure. That's not a promise — the architecture doesn't allow it. No shared cloud environment, no multi-tenant isolation to trust: your instance is your own.
Regulatory readiness
A two-part audit trail resolves the conflict between the AI Act's logging requirements and the GDPR right to erasure. Crypto-shredding lets you keep a complete, auditable log and still erase personal data — by destroying the key, not the trail.
Deployment, authentication and model choice.
Deployment. You run VAKTA in your own cloud account or on your own server. We provide Terraform modules and support, so the setup is reproducible and auditable.
Authentication. Sign-in via OIDC / Entra ID. Each person sees only what they're authorised to — permissions follow through into every answer.
Model choice. Choose freely among leading models — Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google, Mistral. No lock-in, and switching requires no new integration.
Self-hosted
You run VAKTA in your own cloud subscription. For organisations with their own IT or an MSP partner.
Your own hardware
For regulated industries that require full physical control. VAKTA runs on your own server, behind your firewall.
